We offer pad/bag training in Muay Thai, Kickboxing and Boxing. In addition we offer Mixed Martial Arts, Street Defense and Firearms training by qualified law enforcement/ military personel. Our street defense classes are reality based keeping in mind that on the streets there are no rules, padded gloves, or referees to stop a fight.
Founded in 1989 by Ercivan, Amsterdam Gym is
one of the first authentic Muay Thai training camps in America. The techniques we train fighters in are the same used by the Dutch who have been training in Muay Thai since the seventies. Amsterdam Gym trainers have produced hundreds of amateur fighters, pro fighters and instructors.
We start our kids at an early age in Muay Thai or Boxing. Instruction is by Alfredo Gomez who has been teaching children for the last 8 years. We focus on technique, positive self image, and respect. Classes are fun and young boxers can train towards USA boxing sanctioned boxing matches.
